Our charter

These are not marketing. They are the reason to trust us, and we are bound by them.

• We will never accept money from contractors. Not for listings, badges, claiming a profile, or responding to records. Disputing an incorrect record is free, forever.
• We will never sell leads or referrals. There is no "get quotes" button. We only know what the record says.
• We will never rank or recommend contractors. No stars, no scores. Rankings are where neutrality dies.
• We will never run a background check or build a person dossier. We republish occupational-license records only, including licenses individuals hold in their own name (a master plumber IS the licensee of record). A page for an individually held license is that one license record as the board publishes it, never aggregation across sources, never adverse characterization, and never for any FCRA purpose (employment, tenant, credit, or insurance screening).
• We will never imply completeness. Every answer says what was checked and what was not, and a "no records found" is never a clean bill of health.
• We will never sell or share your queries. No ad pixels, no third-party trackers.
